This December, we’re bringing Christmas to the Village on a whole new level – making sure you’re never at a loss for things to do, eat, drink, shop, or enjoy. Embrace the magic of the festive season blended with that unmatched Brixton Village energy as we put on our version of a very merry Christmas programme, always supporting small and celebrating local. Not to mention, our New Year’s Eve Block Party is making a comeback.
Christmas Lates in Brixton Village
To celebrate the start of the season and introduce some new traders in our reimagined Market Row lineup, we’re running a very special Thursday late-night shopping series. Find one-of-a-kind gifts for your loved ones, support our independent businesses, and stay for the tunes, food, mulled wine, and giveaways.
Here’s what you’ll find at our late-night series:
- Festive discounts from multiple traders
- 2-for-1 drinks between 6pm – 8pm
- A FREE gift from our Village tombola when you spend over £30 in the Village
- Live DJs playing festive tunes with a twist
- The chance to be among the first people to check out our newest additions to Market Row.
And that’s not all: to spread some extra Christmas cheer, our roaming Village Saint will be surprising lucky guests with £100 cash giveaway every hour, on the hour.
Every Thursday from 30th November until 14th December from 6pm to 10pm (for our retail traders) and till 11.30pm (for our food and beverage traders), across Granville Arcade and Market Row.
The Black Farmer Opens in Market Row
We’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, AKA The Black Farmer, who is bringing his farmshop to Brixton Village for his very first bricks and mortar store. Right in time for Christmas, The Black Farmer will be opening its doors on the 14th December 2023.
Where urban accessibility meets rural charm, the farmshop will have the best quality goods including high-quality produce, ready-to-eat meals, food on the go, gifts, and even a cafe bar.
Be one of the first to get a sneak peek at his new farmshop by signing up to be a VIP – this will give you early access to the store from 11th December and some very special discounts!
Free New Year’s Eve Party with Brixton Village Lates
Stuck on what to do for New Year’s Eve in London? We are returning with another NYE Block Party. If you joined us in the previous years, you know what to expect. If you haven’t, prepare to celebrate the new year and witness our incredible community in action. Brixton knows how to party, and you can be sure we’re pulling out all the stops as we say goodbye to 2023 and hello to 2024.
You’ll be thrilled to know we’ve teamed up with the Handson Family legends – the brains behind the Brixton Village Lates series – to bring you the most epic music programme, led by internationally loved DJs, to ring in the new year in style.
And that’s not all…There will also be a FREE camera booth to capture the memories , a FREE glitter/gem station, and a limbo competition earning winners a free tab for the rest of the night at the Supercute bar.
With both markets open and two separate parties from 7pm till 2am, expect a varied rotation of banging DJs stationed across the Village, late-night dining at a selection of your favourite Brixton Village restaurants, flowing drinks from our Village bars, and boogies until the early hours.

NYE is going to be a big one – if you’re the organiser of your gang and want to make sure you have a spot secured, make a booking at Lost in Brixton or Bottle & Rye who will be hosting their very own special events throughout the night.
Grab a ticket to Lost in Brixton’s NYE party – which includes a delicious festive cocktail on entry as well as a live DJ and special guest trombonist! As well as something special to celebrate that midnight moment.
