And just like that, we get another month closer to the end of the year! We had a plenty of celebrations across the Village this month, here’s what we’ve been up to:
6th of October: Wayne Campbell Book Launch Event
Wayne celebrated the launch of his first photography book, ‘A Celebration of Demonstration’ at BRXTN Village Studios. His work is a display of visual activism, showcasing the unity, determination and commitment to justice across the streets of London following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020.
14th of October: Healthy Eaters 20th Birthday Party
Healthy Eaters celebrated its 20th anniversary with a big party in Electric Avenue and Market Row. There was a live DJ, performances from local artists and school groups and we saw the return of the original Healthy Eaters food truck which served an exclusively Vegan offering of some Healthy Eaters classics.
27th of October: Gareth Esson Launch Party
Gareth Esson launched his new single ‘Warning Signs’ with a release party at BRXTN Village studios. He celebrated with a live set along with DJ Hey Essay and played the track for the very first time to a live audience.
28th & 29th of October: Lost in Brixton Halloween Party
In true Lost in Brixton fashion, the bar hosted a massive two-day Halloween party on their rooftop ‘Lost in the Shadows’.
28th of October: Beetlejuice Brixton Leaving Party
We said goodbye to our beloved Beetlejuice Brixton and saw them off with a celebration of spooky Halloween themed drinks and an all round good time!
29th of October: Brunch. Create. Connect.
Red Rose Concerts hosted their first brunch event in BRXTN Village Studios which aimed to bring creative minds together to build deep connections through their artistic works.
