With so many exciting new shops opening their doors in Brixton and with Christmas season just around the corner, we thought it might be time for a quick guide of our Market Row retailers. Not to mention we’ll be hosting a late night shopping event in Market Row this Friday, so if you’re a fan of independent, sustainable shopping where you support small and local brands and businesses, this one’s for you!
PEXMAS:
Brixton Village, Market Row
Unit 34
Located in Unit 34, you will find Sarah and her team at Pexmas. They first became part of the Village by running our Sunday Guest Markets and today, they’ve established a permanent spot in Market Row, home to a collection of small businesses, artisans, and crafters.
Pexmas began as a boutique Christmas market in Peckham and, over the past nine years, has grown into a staple on London’s holiday market scene. As they’ve expanded, the business has taken on new projects and embraced different opportunities. Their name, ‘Pexmas,’ remains a nod to their roots, achievements, and local pride.
Dedicated to fostering community, placemaking, and supporting small businesses, Pexmas drives independent events, markets, and social spaces.
They also hold monthly Brixton Village Sunday Guest Markets which take place on the last Sunday of the month. Here they showcase local small brands across homewares, fashion, beauty and more!

HAUS:
Brixton Village, Market Row
Unit 30
Simone at Haus has brought something truly unique to Market Row with her community plant shop that doubles as a house party. Known for her welcoming atmosphere, HAUS is a must-visit for stunning greenery, great conversations, made even better by live vinyl DJ sets. They’ve already become a destination in Brixton, regularly hosting events that spill out on Market Row on Friday nights.
HAUS is one of our newest Market Row incubators, and you can find them in Unit 30, where plant lovers and music enthusiasts alike are invited to stop by, hang out, and enjoy the vibe. With DJ decks and lush plants in the mix, Simone’s shop perfectly captures the essence of Brixton’s creativity and community spirit.
LALUNE LONDON:
Brixton Village, Market Row
Unit 24
Maham and her brand, Lalune London, are making a bold statement in Market Row with their purpose-driven jewellery. This female-owned business was founded to empower women, encouraging them to speak up, embrace boldness, and express their individuality through meaningful, beautiful designs.
Each piece is crafted from durable stainless steel and plated in 18k gold, offering timeless sparkle that lasts. If you’re a fan of gold and looking for jewellery that makes a statement, Lalune London in Market Row is the perfect spot to find something truly special.
HOSEF:
Brixton Village, Market Row
Unit 32A
Corvina’s HOSEF store, short for Handpicked Old Stuff & Eclectic Finds, is a treasure trove in Market Row. Inside this creative space, you’ll find a unique blend of vintage furniture, retro decor, and carefully curated art. Each piece tells a story, thoughtfully chosen to bring nostalgia and joy into any space.
Inspired by her late Jamaican grandfather, George Hosef, Corvina infuses her store with the same creativity and love for music that defined him. By mixing cultures, eras, and styles, HOSEF offers a fresh, eclectic shopping experience in Brixton Village.
LITTLE SISTER:
Brixton Village, Market Row
Unit 32B
Next to HOSEF you will find Little Sister, a beloved vintage shop from Peckham that expanded to Brixton Village earlier this year, bringing its distinct retro flair to the neighborhood. After eight successful years in Peckham, Nicola, the visionary behind the brand, decided to share her expertly curated collection of global vintage finds with Brixton.
The shop’s name, inspired by a conversation about Sly and the Family Stone’s old record label, holds personal meaning for Nicola—she has two younger sisters, and in the Black community, everyone’s a “sister.” Little Sister is all about positivity, joy, and creating a welcoming space. Drop by to explore their vintage treasures and leave with a look as unique as you are!
A CELEBRATION OF DEMONSTRATION:
Brixton Village, Market Row
Unit 22A
Wayne Campbell’s gallery exhibition, A Celebration of Demonstration, brings community activism to life through powerful black-and-white photography. Captured over the past three years during various demonstrations across London, Wayne’s work highlights the voices and stories of marginalized groups and individuals.
The gallery not only showcases these striking images but also offers prints for sale. Visitors are invited to leave their own mark on the ‘Wall of Empathy,’ making this space more than just a visual experience—it’s a place for reflection, solidarity, and community connection in Brixton Village.
