Afro-Brazilian Dance & Singing Workshops at Brixton Village | August with Dendê Nation

Brixton Village welcomes Dendê Nation for a month-long celebration of Afro-Brazilian rhythm, movement and voice, in a new collaboration with Reggae Choir. 

Throughout August, the market will host a series of free community sessions, including Afro-Brazilian dance workshops led by Adriano Oliveira and uplifting Reggae Choir singing workshops open to all abilities.

Designed to bring people together in the run-up to Notting Hill Carnival, the programme offers a welcoming space to learn new skills, meet new people, and experience the energy and traditions that inspire Carnival.

The series culminates in a special live sharing performance from the Reggae Choir in the heart of Brixton Village.
