This month five new thriving businesses joined our Village family – which means a whole bunch of new dishes to try, drinks to sip and unique items to buy.
In Granville Arcade we welcomed three new retailers:
Sloe Vintage
Sloe Vintage is a handpicked curation of the very best vintage items London has to offer. Partners Kitty and Kitcat spend endless hours searching through textiles, to make it easier for you to make sustainable fashion choices.
SoLo Craft Fair
SoLo Craft Fair is a creative hub for independent designers and crafters. You’ll find everything here from locally handcrafted goods to in-store events (think things like ‘blind date with a book’) and workshops.
Pop Specs
Pop Specs are quite literally that – specs that pop, aka the centrepiece of any outfit. Daniel, Sharron and Rhonda thrive by making shopping for glasses a fun experience. They believe everyone should be able to find a pair of frames that expresses themselves. Bring your existing prescription and the team will whip you up some new specs in 20 minutes – that’s the perfect amount of time to pop across the Row to grab a coffee from L’atelier Patisserie.
And one new bar, but not just any bar:
Finch
Younger sibling to Plume Wine Bar in Covent Garden, Finch Wine Bar specialises in English wines and other wonders. You’ll find a uniquely delicious collection of boutique wines in their sparkling new location in Granville Arcade, just across from The Joint!
Across in Market Row, we introduced one new restaurant:
Club Mexicana
Highly anticipated – Club Mexicana’s mouthwatering vegan tacos have arrived in Brixton Village, and if there’s one thing we can’t resist, it’s plant-based goodness. Founded by Meriel, her mission began in 2013 when she noticed the lack of vegan restaurants in London. Frustrated, she founded Club Mexicana – determined to introduce vegan food to Londoners and win over the non-believers.
Goodbyes:
Sadly, we’ve said goodbye to Beetlejuice Brixton this month, but of course they went out in style with a celebration of all the amazing memories made in Granville Arcade at their goodbye party.
