Re:Sole is a charity providing refreshed trainers to the homeless and at-risk people. Re:Sole aims to rescue unwanted shoes from landfills and get them to those who need them the most.
Following conversations with unhoused people in London, founder Moosa Nsubuga started thinking of ways he could help. Two years ago, he set up Re:Sole, a nonprofit which redistributes unwanted footwear to the unhoused, unaccompanied refugee minors, ex-offenders, children on free school meals and low-income families.
Their Brixton Village store now provides those in need with trainer, trackies, food and vital coaching skills to reintergrate those most in need of social inclusion.
Brixton Village is open 7 days per week.
Mondays: 8am – 6pm
Tuesday to Sunday: 8am – midnight
